Three out of four of the gospels talk about how the skies went dark as He hung up there on the cross. It was as if even the sun knew that the true Light of the World was being rejected. But He did it anyway. He loved us enough to die for us anyway.
Victory at the Cross is a depiction of those darkened skies, but also the hope that is in Jesus and the fact that He rose again 3 days later.
